Aquatics Unlimited Pool & Repair Service Agreement

Ensuring Clear Expectations and Understanding Before Service Commencement

Additional Expenses:

The following expenses are not included in the regular monthly service rate and will be billed separately:

  • Excessive cleanup (e.g., pressure washing, storm debris, vandalism, or excessive landscape debris)
  • DE (Diatomaceous Earth) filter cleaning (minimum once per year)
  • Parts required for repairs
  • Labor for repairs
  • Service calls
  • Specialty chemicals (e.g., stain and scale treatments, oil enzymes, conditioner, phosphate removers)
  • Annual conditioner
  • Excessive quantities of chlorine, acid, salt, etc. (due to factors such as bather load, pets, leaking pools, excessive debris, or waterfalls)
  • Tile scale cleaning

Customer Responsibilities:

  • Gates and doors are to be unlocked on the day of service.
  • Maintain the appropriate water level to prevent potential damage to the pool, spa, or fountain equipment.
  • Supply backwash hoses, if required.
  • Ensure that trees and plants are trimmed away from the pool with no overhanging branches or foliage.
  • Provide clear access to the pool and equipment, and keep the pump area clean and unobstructed.
  • Remove pool covers, solar covers/rings, toys, rafts, and any other obstacles on the day of service.
  • Ensure that all gates are functioning properly. Service technicians are not responsible for maintaining fences or gates on the customer’s property.

Weather and Service Policy:

In the event of severe weather, such as during hurricane season, services may be postponed (please see the Vacation and Service Schedule). If a storm is present at the time of service, we will do our best to reroute or wait out the storm. If we are unable to wait out the storm, a chemical treatment will be completed at that time.

If a hurricane is present, service may be missed that week. Depending on the severity of the storm, service will resume as quickly as possible. We ask for your patience and understanding during these circumstances.

Holiday Service Policy:

Service may be provided either the day of, the day before, or the day after a holiday, depending on scheduling availability.

Vacation and Service Schedule:

In accordance with our standard 48-week billing cycle, weekly service is scheduled based on four visits per month (48 weeks of service within a 52-week year). Four months of the year will have an additional service day (the fifth visit), which is provided at no additional charge. These extra service days will be designated as vacation time during the off-season (typically November through March), including holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as two additional floating weeks.

Please note that the floating weeks may be utilized at the company’s discretion and without prior notice. For instance, if there is an unexpected weather event such as rain or storms, one of the floating weeks may be used during that time.

Repairs and Authorizations:

Repairs essential to the proper operation of the pool must be authorized promptly to prevent deterioration in water quality. Routine maintenance repairs, such as those involving skimmer baskets, pump baskets, weir gates, pool sweep bags, and tab floaters, will be performed automatically for amounts under $50.00. For repairs exceeding $50.00, customer approval is required before proceeding, and there must be no outstanding balance prior to additional repairs being completed.

Cancellation:

Either party may cancel the agreement at any time, with no further obligation. Account balances are still expected to be paid.

Price Adjustment Policy:

Please note that our prices are subject to change. While we aim to maintain consistent pricing, we reserve the right to adjust rates in response to factors such as market conditions, inflation, or changes in operational costs. Customers will be notified in advance of any price increases. By continuing to use our services, you acknowledge and accept any changes in pricing that may occur.
